The Cooloola Great Walk links Noosa North Shore to Rainbow Beach via the high eastern dunes known as the Cooloola Sand mass. One of the largest accumulations of windblown sand found along the Queensland coast. To the west lies the unspoilt upper Noosa River system. Walk through a diverse landscape of eucalypt forest, dry coastal woodland, heath plains, over sandblows, past perched lakes and rainforests. See views of long sweeping landscapes of the Cooloola coastline and Noosa River lakes. We will do this 83km Great walk over 5 days including travel. It is fairly easy walking with mostly a hard firm surface with the occasional soft sand.
