This walk will be done at a moderate, not overly fast pace. There will be time for rests, and a good lunch break to soak up the magic of East Peak at the top.
We will ascend South East Ridge and descend via the same ridge. Note however there is no 'easy' way up Mt Barney. It involves an 1100m vertical climb and there are some steep sections with some exposure towards the top of South East Ridge.
