After meeting at Walkabout Creek, the walk starts along the Araucaria Track. When this track runs out forestry trails are followed to where Enoggera Creek meets the reservoir. From here a trail beside Enoggera Creek is followed, visiting a unique fig tree on the way. Shortly after this the creek is crossed and a trail is followed along  what I call Holman Ridge to South Boundary Road.
