The Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha are recognised as Australia’s premier subtropical botanic gardens, displaying distinctly different gardens arranged in thematic and geographical displays. Founded in 1970 and officially opened in 1976, the 56 hectare botanic gardens features more than 200,000 plants representing approximately 5000 species from around the world.
