We will alight from our vehicles at Currumbin Rock Pool and proceed to the Bush Sawmill Ruins before crossing the creek and heading up a steep ridge which follows the border of Springbrook National Park. Once hitting the nameless peak at the top of the ridge we will take a left turn and descend slightly into a saddle, ascending again briefly before the imposing sight of the easternmost butte of Boyds Butte greets us through the trees.
