This walk will start on a fire trail before heading to Dandy's Knob. From there we will decend a ridge to the Circuit Road then at Matts Gully, head off track to a fire break which will take us to the top ridge line and Mermaid Break. It is then a short walk to the summit of Mermaid mountain.  Then it is back to the cars via Mermaid break and Watsons Break.  The track is about 14k and involves some  700m in elevation gain.
