We park within Deongwar State Forest at (56J,  426360,  6978410;  545 m), just off the Esk - Hampton Road, and begin with a 15 minute stroll down a fire trail to the West Branch of Kipper Creek, where we go ‘off track’ into the creek, beside an old timber logging bridge (425520,  6979070;   495 m).
