Our adventure / exploration starts from Lk Dunethin and progresses upstream with the incoming tide. This first stage is approx. 9km and finishes at George Best Park, so will result in a return distance of approx. 18km. We then have the option of paddling downstream for approx. 2km to view historic, wooden, lift bridge which was used for cane trains to cross the river.
