Tall sand dunes, endless sandy beaches, crystal clear creeks and lagoons, coastal heath, rocky headlands, abundant wildflowers and turquoise waters make Moreton Island a jewel in Moreton Bay.
This trek is my Moreton central route clockwise, I last led in 2011. It is the Queens Birthday weekend and no additional leave from work is required. It is a reasonably difficult 42k sand walk.
