Chert ridge is a steep rocky ridge that descends into England Creek valley below the falls. An open ridge, with few trees and great views as we descend.

Walk up the creek from here to the falls. That falls is a bit exposed, so we will do a work around. Above the falls there are a few variations and I never seem to go the same way twice. Last time found a very narrow steep sided chasm, nice. Continue up to the Western Window trail and home.
