We paddle off from Clontarf along the sea front to the channel markers that guide us under the Ted Smout Bridge and up the North Pine River. There are many birds of different species along the North Pine River and Koalas are often seen shortly before Petrie to add to a pleasant experience. This is a tidal mangrove area. It offers quiet paddling.
