This is a short-day walk starting atop Mt Glorious, a few kilometres past the Maiala day use area, to the site of a wrecked Piper Comanche plane which impacted in adverse weather conditions on 2nd March 1977. We will follow an old logging track for approx. 3 km and then descend quite steeply for approx. 500 metres to the site of the fatal crash. The track is not maintained so there will be some scrambling over and under fallen trees.
