Pack Training to improve mountain fitness carring a "through walk pack".  Start with 5kg - 10 kgs (or what you are comfortable with), and after several weeks add weight. REMEMBER to carry to your fitness and do not over pack to avoid injury.

Starting time is 7:00 am. Duration 1 1/2 hours. Meeting at Mt Coot-tha Tea House, angle car park.
