Karawatha Forest is one of the city's largest areas of remnant bushland.  Our walk will traverse several trails with a variety of habitats including eucalypt forest, heathlands,  wetlands and freshwater lagoons. We will walk amid she-oaks, banksia, stringybark and ironbark, fern-lined dry gullies and wetlands with sedges, rushes and melaleucas.  Morning tea will be on a sandstone ridge with some interesting views.
