Stradbroke Island or Straddie is  the second largest sand island in the world.  On the island there are three small towns, a number of lakes and beaches along most of the seaward coastline with rocky outcrops at Point Lookout. An Aboriginal, members of the Quandamooka tribe, presence on the island has been long and ongoing. There are a couple of tours they conduct from Dunwich (Goompi). This is a 4 day Base Camp at Cylinder Beach, Point Lookout (Mooloomba). We will do two 1/2 day walks and two full day walks.
