We will descend from Furber Stairs and follow Federal Pass around past Ruined Castle before climbing Koorowall Knife Edge to Mount Solitary.  The plan is to camp on Mount Solitary before descending a steep gully on the eastern side to the Kedumba River where we'll camp on the second night.  We return to Katoomba via the Sublime Point Fire Trail, climbing the Giant Stairs to near the Three Sisters.
