The intention of this survey is to find a suitable (grade 5 to 7) route to the West peak of Mount Cougal from the North, via a tributary of Tallebudgera Creek and an adjoining ridge.

Expect steep inclines/scrambles over loose rock, thick vegetation including wait-a-while, and terraced cliffs (and  cliff breaks) toward the summit of West Peak.
