We paddle off from Petrie passing the Eucalypt Trees that are homes to Koala and you will often see them perched in the trees if you keep a sharp lookout. There are many birds of different species along the North Pine River to add to a pleasant experience. This is a tidal mangrove area. It offers quiet paddling.
